Adjungeret professor Dan Jørgensen holder tiltrædelsesforelæsning på AAU-CPH

In honour of the former Minister of Food, Agriculture and Fisheries, Cand. Scient. Pole. Dan Jørgensen's appointment as adjunct professor at the Department of Planning at Aalborg University an inaugural lecture is held tilted:

Bringing home the bacon? -  Challenges and possibilities of Danish food production

"In 2014 The Economist named Denmark "an agricultural superpower". Likewise, studies frequently rank the Danish food sector among the most innovative and competitive in the world. However, the sector faces major challenges. This lecture offers an analysis of the successes of the past, and possible demise in the future, of Danish food production. The core argument being that innovation and transition towards more sustainability is essential".

The lecture will be held on Monday. 22.februar 2016 at 3-5pm at:

AAU-CPH Auditorium, A.C. Meyers Vænge 15, 2450 Copenhagen SV.

After the lecture a small reception will be held in collaboration with the Kitchen Collective in Foodscape Lab,
Frederikskaj 10A, 2450 Copenhagen SV.
