Integrated Food Students help Food start-ups with their communication

Integrated Food Students have been busy at work applying their acquired knowledge and theories from their third semester course "Strategic Communication and Staging of Food, Sustainability and Health". 

In the true spirit of Aalborg University''s motto "Co-location for Co- creation" the students were designated business' associated with the embedded food start-up incubator Kitchen Collective, located at Copenhagen Campus. The students have heard case-presentations, tasted samples and developed strategic communication plans for the participating start-up businesses, which they presented to the start-up businesses at AAU-CPH campus on the 4th of October.


 Both the students and business' benefit from such an exchange.  The students get to put to use their knowledge from the course and  receive valuable feedback from practitioners, and the start-ups  receive valuable information as how to improve their  communications in order to become more successful with their  businesses.

This is the second year where start-up businesses from Kitchen Collective have been used as case-studies in the course at Integrated Food Studies. And with very positive feedback from both start-up businesses and students it will probably not be the last.
